Rocklin Police Pursuit Ends in Crash on Marlee Way, 2 Arrested
ROCKLIN, CA (August 11, 2022) – Sunday, authorities arrested James Holloway and another teen after a car crash on Fairway Drive.
Per reports, officers spotted a stolen vehicle in the 5700 block of Fairway Drive. They then realized that the vehicle was occupied and tried to perform a routine stop. However, the driver immediately fled, initiating a pursuit.
The chase came to an end when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed near Fairway Drive and Marlee Way. The two suspects then tried to flee on foot.
After some searching, authorities managed to arrest 18-year-old James Holloway of Oakland and the 16-year-old male driver.
As a result, Holloway is facing charges of resisting arrest and an outstanding warrant from Alameda County. Meanwhile, the 16-year-old was charged with driving a stolen vehicle and evading a police officer.
