Crews Extricate Driver after Auto Collision near Jamacha Road
EL CAJON, CA (August 1, 2022) – Late Saturday morning, a woman suffered injuries in a two-car crash on Jamacha Road.
The incident occurred around 11:55 a.m., on a private road in an unincorporated area. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after on July 23rd.
Per reports, the female driver of a Toyota attempted to turn from eastbound Jamacha Road onto a private road. There, she was hit by another woman driving a Chevrolet.
The Toyota flipped over upon impact, trapping the driver inside. It took crews at least 30 minutes to cut the roof and extricate the woman from the vehicle.
Medics transported the severely injured woman to Sharp Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, paramedics also took the female driver of the Chevrolet to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
At this time, authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved. Once available, further details will be provided.
