Single-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 10, 1 Killed and Multiple Injured

BUCKEYE, AZ (August 1, 2022) – Sunday morning, police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 where one person died.

On July 24th, just before 10:00 a.m., police received a report about a vehicle crash on the westbound lanes near Miller Road.

According to Arizona Department of Public Safety, one person was killed and several other suffered injuries.

Furthermore, it was unclear if the deceased was one of the four people sent to the hospital or if the victim died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the identity of the victim was withheld, pending next of kin.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. An active investigation is currently ongoing.
