Driver Arrested after Chase Ended in Crash with Uninvolved Car on Sherman Way
CANOGA PARK, CA (July 29, 2022) – Tuesday evening, authorities arrested a driver after a pursuit crash on Sherman Way.
The incident began around 10:20 p.m., on July 5th, in the area of Canoga Park.
According to reports, officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle. However, the driver faked pulling over before speeding off, causing the police to give chase.
The pursuit ended shortly after when the suspect collided with an uninvolved vehicle on Sherman Way and Alabama Avenue. Both vehicles sustained significant damage, and at least one person suffered unspecified injuries as a result of the collision. Police were able to detain and arrest the suspect after the crash.
