Jalessa Johnson Arrested after DUI Collision on Highway 180 [Fresno, CA]
Fresno DUI Driver Injures 2-Year-Old Child along Highway 180
FRESNO, CA (July 26, 2022) – Authorities arrested 30-year-old Jalessa Johnson following a DUI collision on Highway 180, Friday morning.
According to the police, the collision happened around 4:50 a.m., east of Chestnut Avenue.
Investigators said Johnson failed to stop while in her 2006 Chrysler 300 and rear-ended a Toyota Tacoma.
Afterwards, the crash resulted in multiple other collisions that blocked the highway for an unspecified amount of time.
Eventually, first responders arrived and transported the suspect and her 2-year-old passenger to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
In addition paramedics also rushed a 34-year-old man, from Johnson’s vehicle, to a hospital with moderate injuries.
In the end, 30-year-old Jalessa Johnson was arrested under suspicion of DUI by Fresno Police. An active investigation is currently underway.
