Two Dead after Traffic Crash on Interstate 15 [Baker, CA]

Vehicle Collision near Baker Boulevard Left Two Dead

BAKER, CA (July 21, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a traffic crash on Interstate 15 claimed the lives of at least two people.

The collision happened on July 19th, at around 12:33 p.m., near the Baker Boulevard off-ramp.

According to reports, at least three vehicles: a red compact 4-door sedan, a gray SUV, and a blue pickup truck, were involved.

After arriving at the scene, officials found two unconscious adults and a child ejected from a baby seat.

All told, San Bernardino County firefighters reported 7 patients and requested three helicopters at the scene.

However, two of the helicopters were canceled after two patients succumbed to their injuries. Medics airlifted one person to a local hospital for treatment.

At this time, authorities have not released the names of those involved in the crash.

Baker Officials and the California Highway Patrol Barstow station are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal Interstate 15 traffic crash.
