Solo Vehicle Accident on State Route 9 Left One Fatality
SANTA CRUZ, CA (July 21, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, a solo-vehicle crash on State Route 9 claimed the life of Dylan Charette.
According to the initial reports, the incident occurred when a southbound Toyota Tacoma veered off the road and hit a power pole. It continued off the roadway and overturned down the dirt embankment where it hit a tree.
California Highway Patrol officers arrived at the scene shortly after and declared 31-year-old Dylan Charette of Felton dead at the scene.
At this time, Santa Cruz Officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the State Route 9 crash.
