Emmanuel Elizalde Killed in Car Accident on Route 94 [Lemon Grove, CA]

Three-Vehicle Crash near Route 125 Left One Fatality

LEMON GROVE, CA (July 28, 2022) – On Sunday, police responded to a car accident on Route 94 that killed Emmanuel Elizalde.

The crash happened on July 18th, at around 2:30 a.m. near Route 125, when a BMW crashed into a Mercedes sedan, according to a witness.

It was reported that Emmanuel Elizalde exited their vehicle after the crash and was struck by a third vehicle.

Paramedics arrived and pronounced Elizalde deceased at the scene. Additionally, police arrested one driver under suspicion of DUI.

Meanwhile, eastbound lanes on No. 01 and 02 lanes were blocked for cleaning and preliminary duties. Lemon Grove officials have not released the identities of any of the involved parties at this time.
