Pedestrian Dead after Collision on Indian Street [Moreno Valley, CA]
Traffic Accident near Hemlock Avenue Left One Fatality
MORENO VALLEY, CA (July 19, 2022) – On Tuesday, a pedestrian collision on Indian Street left one person killed, authorities said.
The crash happened on July 12th at around 8:50 p.m. near Hemlock Avenue, involving a pedestrian and a 2005 Toyota Scion XB.
Furthermore, according to the police, the pedestrian was pushing a cart heading north when the Toyota struck him from the rear.
Eventually, officers arrived at the scene and pronounced the man deceased. The identity of the involved parties has not yet been released.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. He did not suffer any injuries.
Also, police were not able to determine if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. Toxicology reports are pending.
