One Killed after Multi-Vehicle Crash near Highway 1 [Daly City, CA]

Traffic Accident near Highway 280 Left One Fatality

DALY CITY, CA (July 19, 2022) – On Monday morning, a multi-vehicle crash near Highway 1 claimed the life of one person.

The crash happened on July 11th, at around 5:00 a.m., in the northbound lanes of Highway 1, near Highway 280.

As per reports, a silver Nissan traveling northbound, struck a wall along the highway. When the driver got out of his vehicle, he and his vehicle were struck by a gray SUV. The crash caused a pile-up involving two other vehicles.

Emergency responders arrive shortly after and rushed the driver of the Nissan to a local hospital, where he later died.

No other injuries were reported by the others involved in the accident near Highway 280.

Meanwhile, northbound lanes were blocked for 2 hours prior to the accident.
