Anthony Ortega Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 710 Freeway [Compton, CA]
Traffic Collision on Alondra Boulevard Killed One 27-Year-Old, Three Others Injured
COMPTON, CA (July 19, 2022) – On Sunday, a multi-vehicle crash on 710 Freeway left Anthony Ortega dead and three others injured, police said.
According to the authorities, the collision happened around 2:50 a.m. on the northbound freeway, just north of Alondra Boulevard.
Eventually, medical responders arrived at the scene and declared one person dead at the scene.
Police later identified the deceased individual as 27-year-old Anthony Ortega.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported three other people to hospitals for treatment of minor injuries.
Compton Officials claimed the multi-vehicle crash involved at least four vehicles, including one vehicle that flipped over.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available to the public.
