Alex Sanchez, Chandler Hartley Killed in Car Crash near Drabble Way [Tucson, AZ]

Two 21-Year-Old Men Dead after Multi-Vehicle Collision near Camino de Oeste

TUCSON, AZ (July 12, 2022) – Thursday evening, a crash near Drabble Way claimed the lives of Alex Sanchez and Chandler Hartley.

The collision happened around 5:45 p.m., on July 7th. Emergency crews arrived to the scene along Camino de Oeste, near Drabble Way.

According to reports, Sanchez and Hartley were occupying a Mercury Grand Marquis that was traveling at high rates of speed. For reasons unknown, the Mercury veered into oncoming lanes, striking a Jeep and a Dodge Charger, before coming to a rest.

Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced 21-year-old Sanchez dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported 21-year-old Hartley and the driver of the Dodge Charger to a local hospital. Due to the extent of his condition, 21-year-old Hartley later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The driver of the Jeep was treated on scene and released shortly after. At this time, authorities are still investigating the factors surrounding the deadly crash.
