22-Year-Old Victim Killed in Auto Accident near Rosecrans Avenue
PARAMOUNT, CA (July 8, 2022) – A single-vehicle crash on 710 Freeway killed Carlos Hernandez, early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened just before 12:15 a.m., near Rosecrans Avenue.
Investigators said Hernandez’s vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a pole before hitting an embankment. Upon impact, 22-year-old Hernandez of Long Beach died at the scene despite the life-saving efforts of first responders.
A portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
At this time, Paramount Officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the 710 Freeway crash. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available to the public.
