Traffic Accident on Lime Kiln Road Left 1 Hospitalized
GRASS VALLEY, CA (July 6, 2022) – 59-year-old Lorraine Kenny sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision along Highway 49 last Monday.
The crash took place at the intersection of Highway 49 and Lime Kiln Road, according to Grass Valley Officials.
Per the initial reports, 40-year-old Deric Stokes was traveling north when he approached an intersection and collided with Kelly’s vehicle.
Paramedics then arrived and rushed Kenny to Sutter-Roseville Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
Meanwhile, officials did not state whether Stokes suffered any injuries from the crash.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
At this time, CHP authorities have no further information on what caused the collision, however, an active investigation is ongoing.
