Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Phelan Road Kills One [Hesperia, CA]
Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Baldy Mesa Road
HESPERIA, CA (June 27, 2022) – Friday night, one victim was pronounced dead after a motorcycle accident on Phelan Road.
Police responded to the scene around 6:08 p.m., just east of Baldy Mesa Road on June 24th.
For reasons under investigation, a Harley Davidson and a brown 2014 Kia Optima collided. However, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear.
According to reports, bystanders performed chest compression on the severely injured rider before firefighters arrived and pronounced the man dead.
Both lanes of the Phelan Road were closed for an extended period of time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
Meanwhile, further investigations are still underway.
