Police Officer Hurt in Motorcycle Accident on Oak Avenue
PASADENA, CA (June 21, 2022) – Friday afternoon, a police officer was injured in a motorcycle crash on Colorado Boulevard.
The collision occurred around 3:15 p.m., at Colorado Boulevard and Oak Avenue.
News footage from the scene shows a police motorcycle that collided with a red 2021 Hyundai Sonata.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the Hyundai driver attempted to make a left turn onto Colorado Boulevard. Consequently, the motor officer collided with the Hyundai.
As a result, the officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics eventually transported the victim to a local hospital for immediate medical treatment.
In addition, both directions of the roadway shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
