13-Year-Old Skateboarder Dies in Traffic Accident on Prewett Ranch Drive

ANTIOCH, CA (June 16, 2022) – On Saturday, a vehicle crash on Dallas Ranch Road claimed the life of Justin Nartea, police said.

The accident happened near Dallas Ranch Road and Prewett Ranch Drive at around 8:55 p.m.

Authorities immediately responded to the scene upon receiving reports about the crash.

Upon arrival, they found the 13-year-old victim suffering from injuries at the scene.

Furthermore, authorities said the victim sustained major injuries. Later on the victim, identified as Justin Nartea, died despite the life-saving efforts of medics.

Meanwhile, the driver who struck Nartea stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Both directions of the roadway temporarily closed to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

An active investigation into the crash is underway.
