One Dead, One Hospitalized after Fiery Crash near Gold Strike Road

SAN ANDREAS, CA (June 2, 2022) – Saturday, a two-car collision on Highway 49 left one person dead and Rodney Patrick injured.

According to police, a fiery car accident that resulted in major casualties happened on Highway 49 on May 28th, south of Gold Strike Road.

Furthermore, the involved vehicles were engulfed in flames, and one driver suffered critical injuries while the other was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities identified the injured driver as 57-year-old Rodney Patrick. However, authorities have not released the identity of the deceased driver.

Meanwhile, paramedics airlifted Patrick to UC Davis Medical Center for further treatment.
