Driver and Passenger Dead after Fatal Car Crash near South Jones Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (May 31, 2022) – Tuesday morning, Priscila Velasquez and Jason Quhhaar were killed in a car accident on Saddle Avenue.
The incident occurred around 5:16 a.m., near South Jones Boulevard. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.
According to witnesses, the driver of a dark colored vehicle lost control and crashed into the Saint Simeon Serbian Orthodox Church.
Wednesday morning the Clark County Coroner identified the victims as 34-year-old Velasquez, of Las Vegas and 34-year-old Quhhaar, of Las Vegas.
Investigators say the driver died at the scene, while the passenger later dead at the hospital.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is still underway. Once available, more information will be released.
