Three Dead, 5 Injured after Three-Car Crash on Stadium Road
ISLA VISTA, CA (May 31, 2022) – Saturday night, three victims were killed and five were injured in an auto collision on El Colegio Road.
The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m., near the intersection of El Colegio and Stadium Road on May 28.
Reports indicate that one of the drivers recklessly ran a red light at the intersection. As a result, three cars collided, sending one vehicle off the road and into a tree.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department declared three victims dead at the scene. A total of five victims suffered injuries, two with major injuries and three others with minor wounds.
At this time, further events surrounding the deadly collision remain unclear.
