One Hospitalized after Big-Rig Collision on Interstate 5 [Sacramento, CA]
Victim Injured in Semi-Truck Accident near San Juan Road
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 27, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, one victim was hospitalized after a big-rig collision on Interstate 5.
The accident happened around 2:00 p.m. For reasons unknown, the driver lost control and crashed before ending up on San Juan Road.
As a result, the collision blocked traffic from Duckhorn Drive to Airport Road. Eventually, Hazmat teams arrived at the scene to clean up the fuel leak from the truck.
In addition, firefighters also transported one person to a hospital after sustaining unspecified injuries.
At this time, the identities of those involved in the crash have not been made public. Sacramento Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the I-5 big-rig crash.
