Traffic Accident on Carson Street Left One Fatality
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 20, 2022) – A hit-and-run on Harbor Gateway claimed the life of a pedestrian Tuesday evening.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Carson Street near Denker Avenue. Reports stated that the 30-year-old pedestrian was walking along Carson street when they were struck by a passing vehicle.
Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
At this time, her identity and the identity of the hit-and-run suspect remain unavailable.
Authorities only described the suspect in a white coupe, possibly a BMW.
Officials are asking anyone with information about the hit-and-run to contact LAPD South Traffic Division at 323-421-2500.
