The vehicle collision occurred around 11:45 a.m. on Highway 12 near Chadbourne Road, per initial reports.

According to the police, at least six people sustained significant injuries.

Meanwhile, the fire department added one person was trapped in the wreckage and required extrication by emergency crews.
