Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle along Woodman Street

SAN DIEGO, CA (May 19, 2022) – On Friday, an unidentified person sustained injuries following a pedestrian crash on Woodman Street.

The incident took place in the 800 block of Woodman Street at 8:39 p.m. on May 6th.

California Highway Patrol responded to the reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle. As per reports, the pedestrian walked into the path of a 39-year-old man driving a gray 2021 Toyota Tacoma. The driver failed to stop in time and struck the pedestrian.

Paramedics then transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with multiple fractures. Local police have no further information about the victim’s name or current condition.

Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene to cooperate with authorities. An active investigation into the pedestrian crash is currently underway.
