58-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Auto Collision on De Berry Street
COLTON, CA (May 16, 2022) – 58-year-old Bert Gallardo Rodriguez died Friday afternoon, in a two-car collision on La Cadena Drive.
The crash happened around 4:25 p.m., at the intersection of La Cadena Drive and De Berry Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a pickup-truck and another vehicle collided for unknown reasons.
Responding officers declared Rodriguez dead at the scene.
Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
At this time, officers have no information about the other driver. Authorities are still currently working to determine the cause of the collision. Investigators are trying to determine if speed played a role in the collision.
