Male Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Fatal Collision on 37th Avenue
PHOENIX, AZ (May 11, 2022) – Saturday night, Francisco Moreno was struck and killed a vehicle near 37th Avenue and Glendale Road.
According to authorities, the fatal accident occurred around 8:40 p.m., near the intersection. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.
Initial reports stated that 42-year-old Moreno was struck by a white car as he was crossing the roadway, mid-block.
First responders arrived and pronounced 42-year-old Moreno dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries.
Meanwhile, the involved driver did not sustain any injuries and stayed on site to cooperate with police.
No other details about the fatal pedestrian crash have been released at this time; however, an active investigation is currently underway.
