One Rider Killed in Motorcycle Collision near Auberry Road
MADERA COUNTY, CA (May 10, 2022) – Thursday morning, medics pronounced Axel Thomas Osborne dead after a motorcycle accident on Road 222.
Just before 12:00 p.m., Madera County officers responded to the scene just east of Auberry Road on May 5.
According to reports, Osborne missed a curb and lost control of the motorcycle, causing him to veer onto the curb. There, Osborne was thrown from the vehicle onto the road.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medical personnel pronounced 23-year-old Osborne dead at the scene.
Additionally, crews closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
