Man Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Accident near Sutter Avenue
FRESNO, CA (May 5, 2022) – Medics sent an unidentified man to a hospital Friday night, after a hit-and-run collision on Highway 33.
The incident happened around 9:00 a.m., just north of Sutter Avenue.
According to reports, a man was walking in the area when the driver of a vehicle struck him and fled the scene.
Responding paramedics flew the victim to Community Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
Meanwhile, authorities found parts of the vehicle at the scene. Officers described the runaway driver’s vehicle as possibly gray, and has a missing right-side mirror.
At this time, police are still searching for the suspect driver and urge anyone with information to contact them. Meanwhile, the hit-and-run collision on Highway 33 remains under active investigation.
