LAGUNA BEACH, CA (May 3, 2022) – Monday morning, a car crash on State Route 73 left one person injured, police said.

The crash happened at southbound State route 73 near Laguna Canyon Road around 9:30 a.m.

Police said two cars crashed on the freeway near the Laguna Canyon Road off-ramp resulting in one person sustaining injuries.

The identity of the other victims has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
