Father and Daughter Killed in Solo-Vehicle Collision near Beach Boulevard
LA MIRADA, CA (May 3, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, Michael Oliveri and Karlie Daily were killed in a single-car crash on Rosecrans Avenue.
According to reports, the crash happened around 7:50 a.m., near Beach Boulevard and East Rosecrans Avenue.
Investigators revealed that a gray Chrysler was heading east on Rosecrans and lost control for reasons unknown. As a result, the Chrysler crashed into a fire hydrant and utility pole near the intersection.
The two occupants, believed to be a father and her adult daughter, died at the scene.
Eventually, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office identified both victims as 46-year-old Oliveri and 21-year-old Daily of East Whittier.
At this time, La Mirada officials are working to investigate further circumstances surrounding the fatal crash. Once available, further details will be provided.
