Two Dead after Rear-End Accident near Silverado Ranch Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 29, 2022) – Tuesday, Angelo Morales and Marco Sotelo suffered fatal injuries in a speeding collision on Interstate 15.
According to reports, the deadly incident occurred around 12:05 a.m., near Silverado Ranch Boulevard.
Investigators say the driver of a speeding white Honda Accord was traveling in a reckless manner and rear-ended a semi-truck.
As a result, medics transported the driver of the Honda to University Medical Center where he later died from his injuries. His passenger, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, and died at the scene.
Officers identified the victims as 32-year-old Sotelo, and 25-year-old Morales, of Las Vegas. Both victims suffered blunt force trauma upon impact.
