Four Unidentified Victims Hurt in Auto Accident on 23rd Avenue

EUREKA, CA (April 28, 2022) – Four people sustained injuries Wednesday afternoon, following a hit-and-run collision on Harrison Avenue.

The crash happened around 2:00 p.m., on April 20th. Dispatchers responded to the scene along Harrison Avenue and 23rd Street.

For reasons under investigations, one driver escaped the scene after two vehicles collided in the area. Officials described one of the vehicles as either a dark green or black GMC Jimmy or Durango.

The driver reportedly fled the scene and continued westbound on Buhne.

Meanwhile, responding officers located four occupants of the second vehicle complaining of neck pain. In addition, one victim complained of whiplash.

At this time, officials have no information about the current conditions of the injured people involved in the crash. Eureka Police continue to investigate the hit-and-run crash and will release updates once available.
