Traffic Accident on Chambers Park Left One Fatality

JULIAN, CA (April 21, 2022) – Saturday morning, a motorcycle collision on State Route 79 left one person killed, police said.

The California Highway Patrol reported the motorcycle collision at around 10:51 a.m. on State Route 79 at Chambers Park near Lake Cuyamaca.

Furthermore, authorities immediately responded to the scene and discovered one motorcyclist who was declared dead upon arrival.

Eventually, the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office arrived at the scene to aid in the investigation.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

No other details were released at this time, but the CHP is still investigating the collision. Updates will be made as more information becomes available.
