Traffic Accident on Antonio Parkway Left One Rider Dead

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (April 14, 2022) – Sunday morning, a motorcycle crash on Ortega Highway left Kiana Nguyen killed, police said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 8:20 a.m. on westbound Ortega Highway around Antonio Parkway.

Furthermore, investigators claimed that a 2015 Yamaha R3 motorcycle driven by Nguyen veered across the right shoulder and struck the rock wall embankment.

Eventually, paramedics arrived and transported her to Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, where she later succumbed to injuries.

A portion of the roadway was temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

San Juan Capistrano Officials are investigating the motorcycle crash.
