One Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision near MC-85 [Goodyear, AZ]
Vehicle Accident near Cotton Lane Left 1 Injured, 1 Dead
GOODYEAR, AZ (April 6, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, a two-vehicle collision near MC-85 left one man dead, police said.
Just after 12:30 a.m., the authorities responded to the scene of the collision near MC-85 and Cotton Lane.
Eventually, one man was pronounced dead at the scene while the second man sustained non-serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
At this time, the identities of the victims or the make of their vehicles were not released.
It is not yet determined whether speed or impairment played a role in the crash.
Meanwhile, the accident blocked the MC-85 in both directions but has since reopened.
Authorities are still actively investigating the crash.
