Two-Vehicle Crash near First Street Left Man Killed
LAKEVIEW, CA (April 7, 2022) – Monday morning, a car accident on Ramona Expressway left Victor Basturto-Sandoval dead, police said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:30 a.m. on Ramona Expressway just east of First Street.
Furthermore, paramedics immediately responded to the scene upon receiving the report about the crash.
Eventually, Basturto-Sandoval was declared dead at the scene, the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau confirmed.
Additionally, Cal Fire and Riverside County Fire Department stated that another person suffered moderate injuries.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
