23-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Verde Place

SAN MIGUEL, CA (April 7, 2022) – Early Saturday evening, 23-year-old Ethan Carroll was hurt in a motorcycle crash on River Road.

According to police, the deadly incident happened around 5:30 p.m., near 805 River Road. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Per reports, 21-year-old Michael Foster of San Miguel, was driving a silver Honda Civic and attempted to turn left from Verde Place onto River Road when he stopped for an oncoming car.

There, the motorcyclist collided with the front of the Honda. The impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle onto the road.

Eventually, paramedics arrived and transported Carroll to Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton for treatment of significant injuries. Meanwhile, Foster remained unharmed.

In the end, San Miguel Officials closed River Road up to Verde Place until they cleared the scene.
