Elderly Man Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Rosecrans Street [San Diego, CA]
62-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Pedestrian Accident on Rosecrans Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 7, 2022) – Wednesday evening, a 62-year-old man was hospitalized after a pedestrian crash on Rosecrans Street.
According to police, officers responded to the scene around 6:45 p.m., at 3850 Rosecrans Street.
Investigators say a 46-year-old man was driving a Volkswagen sedan north on Rosecrans, and struck the man who was walking along the road.
Upon arrival, authorities located the elderly male pedestrian suffering from multiple but non-life-threatening injuries. Medics transported the injured victim to a local hospital for further treatment.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved. At this time, the pedestrian crash remains under investigation.
