6-Year-Old Child Killed in Auto Collision near Eggers Drive
VISALIA, CA (April 7, 2022) – Friday, Dylan Conelly and Selena Ramos were hurt, and a child was killed in a car crash on Highway 198.
The incident happened when the driver of a westbound 2002 Dodge Neon allowed the car to drift and leave the roadway.
Shortly after, the vehicle struck a roadway sign and a tree before traveling down a ditch near Eggers Drive. As a result, a 3-year-old girl inside the vehicle sustained injuries.
Meanwhile, another passenger, 24-year-old Ramos, suffered from moderate injuries. Authorities identified the driver as 22-year-old Conelly, who sustained only minor wounds.
Meanwhile, paramedics airlifted the 6-year-old male passenger to Kaweah Delta Medical Center where he later died. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.
At this time, Visalia Officials continue to investigate the deadly car crash.
