One Bicyclist Pronounced Dead after Accident on Bonne View Drive
RIALTO, CA (April 5, 2022) – Sunday evening, one bicyclist was fatally struck in a deadly collision on Riverside Avenue.
The incident occurred around 10:02 p.m., near the intersection of Riverside Avenue and Bonne View Drive on March 27.
At this time, the events leading up to the fatal incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that the driver of a vehicle struck a bicyclist in the area.
Paramedics responded and transported the severely injured victim to a local hospital for further treatment.
Due to the extent of his condition, crews pronounced the bicyclist dead at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center at 10:42 p.m. Officers withheld their identity pending notification of next of kin.
The surrounding area at the intersection was closed during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
