Paul O’Hara Fatally Struck in Semi-Truck Accident on State Route 99 [Modesto, CA]
Rider Killed in Motorcycle Big-Rig Collision near Pelandale Avenue
MODESTO, CA (March 31, 2022) – Tuesday morning, Paul O’Hara was fatally struck in a semi-truck accident on State Route 99.
According to reports, the crash happened around 7:30 a.m., on March 29 near Pelandale Avenue.
Investigators say O’Hara was riding his motorcycle in the center northbound lane when he veered into the fast lane and crashed into a car. Upon impact, the rider was ejected into the slow lane where the driver of a big-rig struck him.
Medics pronounced O’Hara dead at the scene, due to the extent of his injuries. This led to the closure of the Pelandale Avenue on-ramp for about an hour during cleanup and preliminary duties.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still underway.
