Paso Robles Head-On Collision Left One Motorcyclist Killed
PASO ROBLES, CA (March 29, 2022) – A head-on collision in Paso Robles claimed the life of Oliver F Raymond, Saturday.
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before noon on Peachy Canyon Road, west of Old Settler Road.
Authorities said that the motorcyclist leaned into a curve, crossing into the eastbound lane and collided head-on into an oncoming Honda Fit.
Eventually, the first responders arrived at the scene and transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Officials later identified the deceased rider as 78-year-old Oliver F. Raymond of Paso Robles.
Meanwhile, the involved driver identified as a 79-year-old woman from Paso Robles remained uninjured. At this time, authorities are investigating the head-on crash.
