1 Rider Killed, 1 Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Rodeo Drive [Victorville, CA]
Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Fatal Accident near Lariat Road
VICTORVILLE, CA (March 29, 2022) – Thursday evening, one rider was killed while another was injured in a motorcycle crash on Rodeo Drive.
According to Victorville Sheriff’s Station, the crash happened around 7:57 p.m., on March 24.
Police discovered that two motorcyclists had been traveling southbound at a high rate of speed on Rodeo Drive. One rider broadsided a Dodge Durango that was exiting a private driveway on the west side of the roadway.
To avoid the Dodge, the other rider swerved, but was unsuccessful and ended up crashing into a Nissan Altima that was parked nearby.
Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the rider who broadsided the Dodge died at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.
The other rider ended up in a trauma center with their condition unknown at this time. Meanwhile, the Dodge driver did not sustain any injuries.
