53-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash on Thomas Road

PHOENIX, AZ (March 22, 2022) – Thursday night, 53-year-old Stacey Morgan, was pronounced dead after a pedestrian accident on 36th Street.

For reasons unknown, Morgan was walking against a “no walk” signal at the intersection of 36th Street and Thomas Road.

There, the driver of a westbound SUV struck Morgan as she was walking on 36th Street. Upon impact, Morgan suffered serious injuries. Medics arrived and rushed Morgan to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Meanwhile, authorities evaluated the SUV driver and found no signs of impairment. At this time, an active investigation into the deadly accident is still ongoing.
