Car Accident near Tomas Rivera Middle School Left Several Hurt
PERRIS, CA (March 21, 2022) – On Wednesday, a vehicle crash on Martin Street left several people hurt, police said.
The crash took place on 21675 Martin Street at around 1:15 p.m. at Tomas Rivera Middle School on Martin Street.
Furthermore, a red Toyota Corolla crashed into the building and went completely inside, crashing through a wall for reasons unknown.
Consequently, three people sustained moderate injuries while the other six victims had minor injuries.
According to the officers, the nine victims were all staff members, and no students were harmed.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
Neither drugs nor alcohol played a role in the crash, but the CHP are currently investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
