Driver Killed in Fiery Crash on Debby Street [Fallbrook, CA]
Driver Dies after Traffic Accident on East Fallbrook Street
FALLBROOK, CA (March 21, 2022) – Monday, a 52-year-old man lost his life after a fiery crash on Debby Street, police said.
The incident happened on March 14th, around 11:00 p.m., on East Fallbrook and Debby Street.
According to California Highway Patrol, a 52-year-old man was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe when he rear-ended a Chevrolet 3500 pickup-truck that had broken down in the road.
Officials received reports that the Tahoe went down a steep embankment, struck a tree, and caught fire.
Eventually, the Tahoe driver succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by medical personnel. Authorities are currently withholding his name until his next of kin are notified.
At this time, investigators are unsure as to what caused the collision. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
