One Killed, Three Hurt in 2-Car Crash on Santa Gertrudes Avenue [La Mirada, CA]
Three Victims Injured in Traffic Accident on La Mirada Avenue
LA MIRADA, CA (March 16, 2022) – A 2-car crash on Santa Gertrudes Avenue left one person killed and three others injured, Sunday evening.
According to reports, the accident happened just before 6:40 p.m., at the intersection of La Mirada Boulevard and Santa Gertrudes Avenue.
Authorities said the driver a BMW SUV t-boned another vehicle. Firefighters arrived and used hydraulic extrication tools to remove two passengers from the involved cars.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Meanwhile, crews also transported three others to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
Police have not yet released the identities of those involved. At this time, La Mirada officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the two-vehicle crash on Santa Gertrudes Avenue.
