Seth Strader Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Harbor Boulevard [Oxnard, CA]

Traffic Accident near Gonzales Road Left Two Fatalities

OXNARD, CA (March 9, 2022) – A two-vehicle crash on Harbor Boulevard claimed the lives of Seth Strader and one other person Wednesday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Harbor Boulevard, south of Gonzales Road.

Furthermore, the investigators said that a driver of a northbound 2005 Subaru Impreza on Harbor lost control of the vehicle.

Subsequently, the Subaru swerved right onto the dirt shoulder then veered left across both lanes into oncoming traffic.

As a result, the Subaru and a southbound Ford Explorer with four occupants collided head-on.

Unfortunately the Impreza driver, identified as 44-year-old Seth A. Strader of Ventura, and a passenger of the Explorer died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the 46-year-old Ford driver and the two surviving male passengers, ages 31 and 44 received major injuries.

Oxnard Officials closed Harbor between Gonzales and Fifth Street for about five hours to investigate the two-vehicle crash.
