Woman Killed in Head-On Collision on Vista Boulevard [Sparks, NV]
Female Victim Pronounced Dead after Two-Car Accident near Wingfield Hills Road
SPARKS, NV (February 24, 2022) – Early Tuesday morning, a woman was killed and two were injured in a head-on collision on Vista Boulevard.
The incident took place around 6:00 a.m., near Wingfield Hills Road. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.
Per reports, one vehicle was heading north and collided head-on with another vehicle that was traveling southbound. Officials believe that weather conditions played a factor in the collision.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one woman dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported another woman to a hospital with critical injuries and a man with minor injuries.
The roads on Vista Boulevard at Wingfield and at Vista Del Rancho reopened around 12:15 p.m., after the investigation. Further circumstances surrounding the crash remains under active investigation.
