Nine Hospitalized after 11-Car Accident on U.S. 95 [Las Vegas, NV]
Several Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash near Mile Marker 50
LAS VEGAS, NV (February 24, 2022) – Monday morning, at least nine victims were hospitalized after an 11-car accident on U.S. 95.
The collision happened around 11:30 a.m., near mile marker 50. Per reports, first responders arrived to the southbound lanes of the highway near the solar panel farm.
At this time, investigators believe that brown out conditions caused the multi-car wreck. However, further details leading up to the collision remain unclear.
Paramedics responded and transported nine individuals to nearby hospitals for further treatment. Their injuries were said to be non life-threatening.
Meanwhile, crews diverted traffic through Kingman, Arizona. Northbound traffic was also diverted to Nipton Road, before the area reopened later in the day.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved. Although, an active investigation to determine more information is still currently ongoing.
